As part of the “Sneha Thanneer Kudam for Birds” project, initiated in 2011 under the leadership of the Nature Protection Group, the formal inauguration of the Sneha Thanneer Kudam 2026 project was held at the Kerala kalamandalam Deemed University campus. The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ananthakrishnan B, officiated the inauguration. The event was presided over by Aneesh Karimpuzha, NSS Program Coordinator of Kerala Kalamandalam. Sajir Taj, Thrissur District Charity Convener of the Nature Protection Group Kerala, released the Sneha Thanneer Kudam brochure. Shaji Thomas N., State Coordinator of the Nature Protection Group Kerala, presented the project overview. Students Atul, Aniket, Ashwanth, Anamika Sajeev, Ashwathi Suresh, Ridha, Akhila, and Nandan Lenin led the proceedings.
